Anhinga is one of several almost identical paintings that Dr. Earl Henry completed while stationed at Parris Island, South Carolina in 1942. All were presents for friends or family members.

Image size is 6 " x 7 3/4". Total paper including white border is 9 1/2" x 11 5/8". It is a perfect size for a mat fitting a standard 11 by 14 inch frame.
